Back End
Live Performance on a 13 Channel Textile Sound System. Performed at FKSE during FRONT END, an exhibition by David Biro, 2019.
Textiles augmented into acoustic transducers function as loudspeakers by translating an electrical signal into its corresponding vibration and sound. Independent channels are designated to the textiles placed within the space. Light and sound are used as the building blocks of a liminial state induced by the timbre of textile and the materiality of sound.
Headphone listening encouraged.
